Get a notebook for writing down these and other words as you
learn them. Carry it with you in your notebook or purse, and use it to keep your new
words in one place. You can glance at it when you're on hold waiting, or in a lull
in a class, or whenever.
To learn new words, - really learn them - read them, say them, close your eyes and
try to remember the meanings. Read the sentences so you get a better sense of the
meaning. It also really helps to write them. Visit them again, and check
yourself a week later to see if you remember them.
